The Film Society was formed in the Summer of 2006 and with the aid of a grant from Awards for All screened it's first film in March 2007. Since then at least one film per month has been shown.

The Film Society is run by committee, currently:

Secretary: Carole Newbery
Treasurer: Ali Corner

Films are normally screened in Lewannick Village Hall on the third Friday of each month though this may vary. See below for our location.
